The Tishman Review’s Edna St. Vincent Millay Poetry Prize  is OPEN to all writers, worldwide, from new to established.  The Contest is judged blind.

PLEASE REMOVE ALL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION FROM MANUSCRIPT, FILE NAME AND DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR NAME IN THE TITLE OF THE FILE. You will be automatically disqualified if you leave identifying information on your entry.

Submissions will be welcome from March 2nd – June 15th 2015.

Poems must be written in English (no TRANSLATIONS).

The Tishman Review’s July issue must be a potential first publication for all works SUBMITTED. No previously published works, or works accepted for publication elsewhere. Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but we must be notified immediately if any poems are accepted elsewhere.  See what our judge is looking for here.

Please submit a COVER LETTER in the Comments section on our Submittable page with the following information: Your name, address, email address, phone number, and the titles of the poems with corresponding page numbers.

Include the poems themselves (with titles and page numbers) on subsequent pages, with each poem BEGINNING a new page.  No identifying personal information should appear on any pages with poems.

Entry fees are non-refundable. Send between three and five poems per entry. There is no line-limit. Poems may be any length, any style, or any subject. Please, no translations for the contest. Multiple entries by a single poet are accepted, however each group of three to five poems must be treated as a separate entry, each with its own cover sheet and an additional $15 fee.

WINNERS and accepted for publication entries will be announced by July 15th.

First place wins $500 and publication in the July 15th issue of The Tishman Review. Second place wins $100 and Honorable Mention wins $50.

All submissions will be considered for possible publication in either the July 2015 or the October 2o15 issue of The Tishman Review. By SUBMITTING you give consent to publish selected poems in the July or October issue.

As we read blind, we accept entries from all writers, regardless of their affiliations with our judge!
