Two prizes of $1,000 each and publication in Slippery Elm will be given annually for a poem and a short story or an essay. All entries will be considered for publication. Mary Biddinger will judge in poetry, and Robert James Russell will judge in prose. Submit up to three poems or 5,000 words of prose with a $15 entry fee by September 13.
