Poetry Spotlight: Science and Society
Ends on December 15, 2017
Send us your techie poems, your poems about specific ecosystems,
your poems about teaching science or math. Talk to us about
artificial intelligence, Big Science, climate change, gender and
racial inequalities in science careers. For TW’s annual poetry
issue, we invite work that covers all aspects of science and society
—an increasingly high-stakes topic.
We seek a diverse range of ten to fifteen poets for this poetry spotlight issue. We’re particularly interested in poems in which formal poetic concerns play a role in shaping the conversation, whether you’re inventing new forms, using received forms, or deconstructing them. Hybrid work is fine, but no essays or stories, please.
Early submissions welcomed!
