“We Can’t Breathe” is a socially minded composition inspired not only by the 2014 tragic chocking death of Eric Garner, but also of the general condition and mis-treatment of people of color who are socially and economically disadvantaged across the globe. The song was written to convey a simple yet powerful message; All human beings belong to a collective consciousness that is greater than any individual. When one human being suffers, we are all suffering. When one human cannot breathe, We Can’t Breathe.
