New Haven, (USA) borned Latanya Akua Naru Olatunji, Akua Naru is an american poet. 
She makes a mixture of contemporary hip hop and poetry mingled with Jazzy contributions slam. 
Having begun writing and performing rythmes as a young girl, she began crafting in her early years what would later reveal to be a great talent for profound lyrism and extraordinary musical performances.
Accompanied by her band, DIGFLO, a six-piece ensemble including drums, keys, saxophone/flute, bass, guitar, and turntables, Akua Naru has a reputation for captivating audiences, hyping crowds, inspiring many.
