#52 – Summer 2016 – Los Angeles

Poetry: This issue will feature a tribute to the poets of Los Angeles. The poems may be written in any style, subject, or length, but must be written by those who have lived at least half their lives in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Please explain how this applies to you in your contributor note. We no longer publish prose essays, but instead use these contributor notes as micro-essays at the back of each issue. The poems themselves don’t have to be about Los Angeles—we want to explore the range of work that contemporary LA Poets are producing. If using Submittable, please be sure to select the Los Angeles Poets category.

Artwork: We still need cover art for this issue. To submit, use the artwork category on Submittable. Rarely we publish internal black and white art that relates to the theme—though usually we’d rather use the space for as much poetry as possible.
