Mosaic Literary Conference 2015

MLC invites proposals for sessions (workshops, screenings, panels, etc.) focused on the literary arts, literacy, and reading comprehension, and how educators, parents, and the community can incorporate these subjects to increase the adoption of reading as a tool for understanding of culture, history, and social issues.

This year we are focused on the civil and humanitarian uprisings focused on #BlackLivesMatter and protests that have taken place in Ferguson, MO., Baltimore, MD, and other cities. Subjects can include, but not be limited to, policing, criminal justice system, crime statistics, #BackLivesMatter and social media movements, poverty as it related to crime, etc.
