Two fellowships for Helen Zell Writers’ Program candidates in poetry between their first and second year in the MFA program at the University of Michigan.
One fellowship for an interdisciplinary artist who paints and writes.
ELIGIBILITY: This fellowship is open to interdisciplinary artists with proficiency in both painting and creative writing. To be considered for this award, please attach EITHER a set of slides/images and a CV that demonstrates creative writing publications OR a creative writing work sample and a CV that reflects a history of painting exhibitions.
A two-week residency fellowship for alumni of the University of Massachusetts Amherst MFA for Poets and Writers.
ELIGIBILITY: This award is for poets who are graduates of the MFA for Poets and Writers, so please indicate that you are an alum of the UMass Amherst program via the Education and CV portions of the application.
10 fellowships open to all active visual and performing artists and writers with a demonstrable commitment to contemplative practice. Tending Space fellowships offer artists the time and space to explore the intersection of arts practice and contemplative practice. Fellows receive support for up to a month of residential meditation retreat, an arts program, two weeks of dedicated studio time at the Vermont Studio Center (or another setting, for performing artists), and a stipend for expenses.
