For National Poetry Month (April) we encourage you to get out there and amp up your Vectorizing. Prizes are awarded! See winners from years past. Future Post-A-Thons will be run on this Tumblr.
Writing Contests!
Broadsided Press runs periodic contests for the writers among you. These include:
- The Haiku Year-in-Review: An end-of-year overview in poems and art (runs every November/December, winners published in January).
- The Switcheroo: In which we post an image and ask for you to create poetry/prose in response (runs every year during April, National Poetry Month, winners published in May).
- Responses: A feature in which we ask writers and artists to respond to world events like Superstorm Sandy and Typhoon Haiyan. No regular schedule.
