Women Bloggers You Should Know

I spent most of my summer familiarizing myself with women bloggers and writers. As a woman of color who writes and blogs, i think it’s so important to support other black and brown women by visiting their websites and sharing words of encouragement.

Most of us are familiar with big blogger names like Yagazie Emezie and naturalbelle, but there are a few women bloggers you may not know that you should. Here are four of my favorites for all things hair, food, fashion and womanhood!

Angel and Chi-Chi are the two sisters behind the blog NkemLife. NkemLife is a lifestyle blog created to share their personal styles, business, views on life, family and womanhood. Nkem (En-khem) means “mine” or “my own.” Together, NkemLife means “My Life.”

Orrblog

Oromo Roxella Rukevwe (O.R.R) is the creator of the blog ORRBLOG. She shares with readers pictures of her many fashionable outfits, her photography and great recipes that I’ve tried and fell in love with.

Glitterplaybook

Brittany or affectionately called “BROB” is the blogger behind glitterplaybook. She created this blog to share her love for natural hair, cooking, fashion and home decor D.I.Ys.
