   I have seen many documentaries on John Coltrane; however I would just like to thank you Salaam for puttung this one together for us. Mr. Fugi, as he is affectionately called, is always right there and ever Present. HIS SOUND, jcf’s…. will always touch me.. whenever and wherever I hear it!!!

   I especially enjoyed hearing his speaking voice, listening at the cadence in which he spoke words… it is very rare to hear HIS SOUND in words.

   One other thing that stood out is the story about him walking out from the club some blocks away with binoculars….. to BE in the heavens!

   He will forever hold a place near and dear in my heart.
