CALLING ALL CREATORS OF COLOR
— LOOKING FOR PANELISTS
FOR NEW YORK COMIC CON
Last year, I had a panel called “Geeks of Color Assemble: Minorities in Fandom” about fans of color in geek spaces.
It was a madcap success.
Sampling of coverage:

This year I want to do a follow-up that specifically focuses on professionals of color working in various industries to talk about the challenges of the field and to give protips about how people can get involved. I specifically want to look at film & TV, books, comics, gaming, and animation.
Interested people can contact me at attic.hermit@gmail.com
I request that you must have at least five years of experience in your field in order to qualify for consideration. Please include your professional credentials in your email.
If this panel gets accepted, panelists will be provided with a panelists badge for the day. Transportation and lodging will not be provided.
Signal-boosting will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all!
