Beecher’s Writing Contest

Beecher’s 2014 Writing Contest. Prizes offered in Poetry, Nonfiction, and Fiction. First place winners in each genre will receive $200 and publication in Beecher’s 4. Runners up will be considered for publication in Beecher’s 4, in print or online. Entry fee is $12 per submission. Poets may include up to 3 poems per submission; fiction and nonfiction writers should submit only one story or essay of up to 4000 words per submission. Multiple submissions are welcome. Guest judges are Frank X. Walker (poetry), Eula Biss (nonfiction), and Manuel Muñoz (fiction). Accepting submissions Feb. 1st – Mar. 31st, 2014. Submit at: www.beechersmag.com/guidelines/
