Raoul Peck is a filmmaker who is internationally recognized not only for his narrative features, but also as a master of the essay film documentary. In conversation with Scribe’s director Louis Massiah, Peck will talk about his creative process and how he turns complex ideas into powerful narratives.
Raoul Peck, who divides his time between France, Haiti and the United States, is the director of the features Haitian Corner, Man by the Shore, Lumumba, Sometime in April and the documentaries Lumumba: Death of a Prophet, Profit, Nothing But, and Fatal Assistance. He is also the chairman of Le Fémis, the national film school of France.
