Some folks say there’s nothing good on television. They’re completely and totally wrong. ABC’s show “What Would You Do” is riveting television that isn’t afraid to hit right at the center of racial bigotry and stereotypes amongst other controversial topics.
What do you think you would do if a Black man brought a White woman into the Black barbershop you were getting your hair cut at? The reactions these folks have here are fascinating.

“What would you do” ? All things considered I have a problem with the way this scenario was set up…and I was pleased at the reactions and how some responded…One time I had to get a state inspection on my car and this young brother started doing a Uncle Tom game telling the garage owner and mechanics that some black people he knew had been picking on white people…I’m wondering why he’s telling them this shit, does he hope to get some special favors from them? black people do this stuff all the time put their own race down airing the dirty laundry…In the community where I grew up during segregation, post Jim Crow what White women that found their way into the neighborhood didn’t fell threaten and most were welcome into Black families homes…Whites considered them the scum of the earth and shun then as whores, nigger lovers, race traitors, dog poop, etc…Our mothers had compassion for social outcasts those considered radicals, Black Muslims, communists, Gay, Lesbians, mixed relationship children, the whole community accepted them…I think you have more racial hatred with the advent of integration…White society control everything Black people want walking around being racist to white people, you were called a nigger, dog, goddam bastard…I be telling people that how we learn how to curse and we took the shit and reuse the language on them…We did not reuse it on them as much as we used it against each other the dozens, your mother was a motherfucker SOB…How can you blame a brother that comes up to you at work and tell you how them white racist tried to talk to him, most blacks didn’t lash out at them very rarely…All this blacks killing blacks was self hatred; our people still want to be white, light skin, talking properly, we caught hell and still catch hell in 2013…I had a friend of mine that said something about this white guy at work while we were in the lunch room and he wanted me too put my 2 cents into the discussion and I told him to leave me out of it…This same black fool I heard him telling whites in the lunch room that black people in Africa ate each other, meaning that he was as ignorance and stupid as they were…this same dude we worked at the telephone company would call me to come over where he was working to listen to the 2 lesbians talk on the phone, (I asked him once why you do stuff like that) and even at times I had heard them repeat something I may have said to my girlfriend on the phone at work…Now the whites did the same thing bragging about what they heard 2 gay guys saying on the phone…Black people are messed up, but overall I don’t see us going around being racist to white people…I felt really good when the woman spoke up about her sister chastising the white woman, it was not right, the brother was right on time with his imput of telling the black hair dresser she was wrong…Now the white lady made a statement about “you got a black president” to the black hair dresser…I thought that one was off the basketball rim, how can you compare progress with a black president that sends out drones killing not whites, but people of color in Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, we haven’t seen nothing but war for 10 years now unemployment, homelessness, locking our black arse(s) up…A lot of them setup by the Po Po better know as the police state…Where I live you have the police stalking, following people around that haven’t done nothing; people are targeted…In this created from scratch “Blackman brings white girlfriend into Barbershop” is not a clear picture of race in America…did they get to the bottom of things ? The newcrew? (No) I think we have went full circle in America with Trayvon Martin, the young sister out in Detroit that was shot with a shotgun when her car may have broken down and she went for help, got blown away…How many blacks are target by the police and murdered…and the dam police will let some lackeys negroes harass other blacks and look the other way…Nothing change
