CONTEST GUIDELINES

Theme: 

The Crime of Human Trafficking and

the Hope & Restoration of Victims


Please take the time to review The A21 Campaign mission and goals – from prevention to recovery.

Submission Period

May 15, 2013 – July 31, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.

Submission Requirements

You may submit one typewritten, single-spaced poem per entry. Poem not to exceed 32 lines (including stanza breaks), in 12 pt. Times New Roman font

A maximum of two entries are permitted per poet

No entry fee

All submissions must be made in English and be unpublished, original and copyright-free work. We will consider nothing overtly sexual, violently graphic, or containing profanity. Please be respectful of the dignity of victims and survivors.

Document Requirements

  • Your name should NOT appear on the poem document. This is a blind-judged contest. The entry form will associate your contact information with the document.
  • Acceptable file types: doc, docx, pdf. Send one poem per file only.
  • File name: poem title AND “Poetry For Their Freedom entry”
