The world is in an uproar. The danger zone is everywhere. Ray Charles sang it way back last century and, with Trump in the White House, it is especially true today.

Moreover, it’s been that way for a good little while now. Except sometimes the danger devolves into a truly foul, rancid, hot mess. And as is too often the case, it be our sisters who end up cleaning up the shit.

We all need to stand with Congressional Representatives Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley.

If you pray, pray. If you meditate, meditate. If you organize, organize. But what-so-ever you do, do it with these four front liners in mind. These women and, of course, thousands of other women, who from 1619 on down have been dealing with the difficulties and dangers of living in this land now called America.

This so-called “squad” is bearing the brunt of a bully regurgitating what is best described as “bullshit”; what else can we call it when Trump tells four women to go back to where they came from. All four of them are citizens, only one of them, Ilhan Omar, was born outside the USA.

A bully who invites us to leave if we don’t like what’s going down. This fool must not know our pedigree, must be completely unaware of whom he is talking to. Must not be cognizant of who, the African American martyr, Crispus Attucks is (the first person to die waging the American revolution). Since day one, we have been fighting enemies both foreign and domestic. 

Members don’t get weary. Can’t stop. Won’t stop. As they say in South Africa, when you come out against the women, you have struck a rock. Let us all, each in our own way, stand strong with four women.
