Wins The 2015
Man Booker Prize
Jamaican author Marlon James has won the 2015 Man Booker Prize for his third novel, A Brief History of Seven Killings, inspired by the attempted assassination of Bob Marley in the 1970s.
James, who now lives in the United States is the first Jamaican writer to receive the prestigious, £50,000 prize, awarded annually for the best novel written in the English language.
