\n2017 Sunday Times<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

EFG Short Story Award.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The prize, worth \u00a330,000 to the winner, is an international award, founded in 2010, that is open to any story of up to 6,000 words written in English. Stories need to have been either previously unpublished or only published after 31 December 2015. Five authors shortlisted for the award will each receive \u00a31,000. The prize is administered by the Society of Authors.<\/span><\/p>\n

To be eligible, the author must simply have a record of prior publication in creative writing in the United Kingdom or Ireland.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entries can be made either digitally by pressing the Digital Entry Form button, or by post, by pressing the Postal Entry Form button, printing the postal form off and sending it together with 11 copies of the story to the address listed on this page.<\/span><\/p>\n

The deadline for entries is 6pm (GMT) on\u00a0Thursday, 29 September 2016<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
