Weigh Anchor<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

it’s moving\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

on time, the skies are clear\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the tattered sails are mended, those same\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

sails which would not, or so it seemed,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

carry us any further, your look\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

in the car outside the park\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

after the interview on the radio, my\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

weary weight sagging into the passenger\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

seat beside you, head thrown all the way back,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

eyes closed and nobody, not even you, knowing\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

where i was at that moment, there was a hole\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

in me below the water line, i had to stop\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

to repair and though you rode proudly\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

high in the water your rudder was gone\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

this bay\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

of us shown nowhere on our maps\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

suddenly found on our transitional coast, we look\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

up and see we, you plug holes, i fix rudder,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and when we are through what do we do,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

linger, no, this is harbor but not home,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

what we have shared it is now time to leave\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

we weigh emotional anchors and set sail\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

each to another place that the other\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

is not going<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
