our intimacy is as subtle as the mottled shade of shell colors<\/span><\/p>\n

on a warm basket of cayenne scented boiled crabs<\/span><\/p>\n

or, more likely, the faint hint of spearmint tea<\/span><\/p>\n

silently seeping while your attention is turned<\/span><\/p>\n

to spreading the beige soft of cashew butter across<\/span><\/p>\n

the crisp of one slice of toasted sourdough<\/span><\/p>\n

which innocently rests near the dark<\/span><\/p>\n

of seeded unsugared strawberry jam freshly smeared<\/span><\/p>\n

atop the face of the bread’s twin — quiet contentment<\/span><\/p>\n

is morning within our colorful kitchen where we are<\/span><\/p>\n

as gaily nude as the golden gleam of early light<\/span><\/p>\n

streaming through our window diagonally impressing<\/span><\/p>\n

a translucent tattoo onto both the half sphere of your breast<\/span><\/p>\n

& the upraised arm of my hand reaching to caress<\/span><\/p>\n
