With M.A. Linguistics (2012), \u00a0 B.A. (Hons.) English (2012) from the Benue State University, Makurdi, Nigeria, and Diploma in law (2001) and Computer Studies (2007), he has been writing professionally for many years now and has a number of\u00a0 published and unpublished works. Currently lecturing at the Hill College \u00a0 of Education, Gwanje-Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. A teacher of\u00a0 English, Communication, Language and Literature. A\u00a0 poet with publications in the US, South Africa and Nigeria respectively.\u00a0 An editor of several contemporary African Creative Writings. He has worked with three of the biggest media houses in East Africa in different positions and has also worked for the biggest advertising<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">agency in Tanzania. He has been an editor of different magazines and runs his own production company. His short stories have been published in numerous magazines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\"><strong>Rules<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Stories must be original unpublished\u00a0 fiction, typed and single-spaced, and should be between 1,000 to 5,000\u00a0 words in length. The selected stories must not have been published\u00a0 previously.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">We accept short stories that have been published online, but have\u00a0 not been published in print magazines, anthologies, or books. Writers need to include a link to the short story in their\u00a0 submission. Translation works are also allowed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Stories must be submitted in Microsoft Word Document format, as an attachment.\u00a0Do\u00a0<em>not<\/em>\u00a0send your story in the body of an email.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">In the subject line of your e-mail submission write your full name and the title of your short story.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Each story must be accompanied by one-paragraph bio written in the\u00a0 third person. Include author\u2019s full name, age, nationality, published\u00a0 work, website, etc. This must be added at the end of your short story,\u00a0 in the same document. (You can attach to the body of the e-mail a recent\u00a0 photograph, too.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">If your short story contains foreign words, include them in a\u00a0 Glossary at the end of your story, with all the foreign words listed in\u00a0 alphabetical order. All these words must be\u00a0<em>italicized<\/em>\u00a0in the body of your story.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">End your submission with a one-paragraph summary of your short story.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Writers can submit up to five short stories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Please understand\u00a0 that an acknowledgement of the story does not guarantee publication.
