BBC Writers Room \u2013 submissions window open<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The\u00a0BBC Writers Room<\/span><\/a>\u00a0has changed the way they accept drama submissions:<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Script Room<\/strong>\u00a0window for submitting scripts will be open from\u00a0November 18th\u00a02013<\/strong>\u00a0until\u00a05pm<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0December 16th\u00a02013<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Script Room is a place where you can send your script to be assessed by our team of experienced readers.\u00a0 We read all scripts as a calling card of a writer\u2019s talent.\u00a0This is not a free script-reading service, but a means by which the BBC seeks out the best new writing talent, offering writers without a track record, representation, or contacts the opportunity to have their work considered by the BBC.\u00a0 Shortlisted writers will go forward to access a range\u00a0of\u00a0development opportunities with BBC writersroom.<\/span><\/p>\n

What we accept<\/span><\/h3>\n

We have strict rules on what we do and don\u2019t accept, so before sending in anything you should acquaint yourself fully with\u00a0our\u00a0Terms & Conditions<\/span><\/a>\u00a0before submitting.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to submit<\/span><\/h3>\n

Submissions to the Script Room should now be made online via our brand new e-submissions system –\u00a0Submit your script<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please read the E-submissions FAQs for full guidelines\u00a0on how\u00a0the new system works.\u00a0 All scripts\u00a0must be formatted as PDFs.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are unable to submit online, please email us on\u00a0writersroom@bbc.co.uk<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to request a cover sheet no later than 3 weeks ahead of the Script Room deadline.<\/span><\/p>\n
