Emrys Journal is published each spring. No submissions will be read before the reading period begins August 1.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The editors of Emrys Journal invite submissions of previously unpublished short fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Before submitting, please familiarize yourself with the style of work found in previous issues of Emrys Journal, available for purchase\u00a0here<\/span><\/a>. We are pleased to have published works of the highest quality from both<\/span>
\nemerging and established writers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Submitting to Emrys Journal:<\/span>
\n\u2022 You may submit an original, unpublished short story or essay (5,000 words max) or up to three poems online at\u00a0emrysjournal.submittable.com\/submit<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u2022 Submissions are charged a nominal $3 reading fee.<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u2022 Please do not expect a response until the reading period has ended.<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\n\u2022 One poem, one short story, and one essay will receive a $250 prize. All other contributors will be compensated with publication and two copies of Emrys Journal.<\/span><\/h3>\n
