Legacy<\/strong>\u00a0is the culmination of a challenge we gave to young Kenyan singers to cover eight Kenyan pop songs released before the year 2010. From classics like Nameless and Amani\u2019s \u201cNinanoki<\/em>\u201d which ushered in a new wave of Kenyan contemporary pop music, to the tongue-in-cheek hip-hop commentary of K-South and Fundi Frank\u2019s \u201cNdai”<\/em>\u00a0the seven participating singers have recreated and re-imagined these eight songs to discover how our musical past is influencing the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
