YouTube allows talented men and women who would otherwise go un/underrecognized to create their own platforms to share their work. Black women are doing this brilliantly. They’re buildingaudiences and producing web video that showcases their talent offers an alternative to handful of portrayals of Black womanhood that we may get in mainstream arenas. These five women are cracking us up regularly on their channels, and we’re grateful for it.
