In the fifties and thereafter, relations between Cuba and the United States deteriorated to the point of imminent all-out war. Their fraught relations was euphemistically considered a major example, if not a partial cause, of the so-called Cold War.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">As a long-standing result, cultural exchanges were discouraged, if not curtailed. While she is a respected soloist, here we present her in collaboration with a variety of \u00a0noted creatives, all of whom are from a previous generation.
