<\/a><\/p>\nCall for Submissions – <\/span><\/h1>\nKatrina Plus Ten (an anthology)<\/span><\/h1>\n\n\nPosted by\u00a0edward<\/span>\u00a0on Thursday, 1 January 2015\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\nElysian Fields Press LLC, of Metairie, Louisiana, is seeking submissions of prose, poetry, and artwork for its forthcoming anthology,\u00a0Katrina Plus Ten<\/strong>, which has an anticipated publication date of August 29, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\nKatrina Plus Ten<\/strong>\u00a0will feature entertaining and thought-provoking stories, essays, verse, and illustrations that recall the experiences of New Orleanians in the days leading up to the landfall of Hurricane Katrina, and the six months after that landfall.<\/span><\/p>\nPublisher\u00a0Edward Branley<\/a>\u00a0welcomes poems of one to five pages in length. In short fiction, he will review short stories under 5K words. For nonfiction, essays, profiles of Katrina survivors, and other stories, 2500 words or less.<\/span><\/p>\nPayment will be based on pages published.\u00a0Katrina Plus Ten<\/strong>\u00a0is expected to be 100 pages in length.
