I’m an Incognito freak–got a bunch of their recordings. Intend some time in the not too distant future to do a feature on their music, but for now am just going to go against the grain of who they are and give you four covers from the British band whose debut recording was 1981. The bulk of their music over the years is written and produced by their leader Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick along with a handful of collaborators. Compared to their massive catalogue, I really like their interpretations, sparse as they may be, of music from other musicians.

In no particular order here are:
Always There (Ronnie Laws)
Nights Over Egypt (The Jones Girls)
Don’t You Worry About A Thing (Stevie Wonder)
That’s The Way Of The World
(Earth, Wind & Fire)

Enjoy.
