New solo project from Meemee Nelzy, 5-track “deeply rooted”
reunite songs written between 2011 and 2015 for different
occasions (album collaborations, song contest, artistic
residency). This time Meemee is surrounded by talented
west Indians musicians who provide several aspect of
Caribbean jazz and traditional sonorities. “deeply rooted”
is a tribute to her afro-caribbean identity.
