A prize of £1,000 (approximately $1,520) is given annually for a book of poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction that is self-published or published by an independent press. The winning book will also be read by a literary agent from London’s MBA literary agency. Judith Allnatt, Paul McDonald, and Clare Morrall will judge.
